2014 Biennial artist Kevin Beasley creates works out of sound, discarded fragments, and refuse that are invested in physical presence and questions of origin. For his evening program he will continue this exploration by immersing the public in a sound environment consisting of live microphones and audio playback devices. Beasley will be joined by special guest performers Leon Finley and Christhian Diaz, whose collaborations seek to pursue the limits of language and engage with moments of human communication and connection.

This event is free with Museum admission, which is pay-what-you-wish on Fridays, 6–9 pm. There are no special tickets or reservations.
